Rockies eliminated from postseason for 25th time in 30 seasons
DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) -- There will be no Rocktober celebrations in 2022.
The Colorado Rockies were officially eliminated from the 2022 MLB postseason on Monday following a 10-7 loss to the San Francisco Giants.
According to our new partners in Denver, this is the 25th time the Rockies have failed to qualify for the postseason in 30 seasons. The 1994 playoffs were canceled due to the player's strike.
The team made the playoffs in 1995, 2007, 2009, 2017, and 2018.
