Colorado Springs Western Street Breakfast prompts downtown road closures

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- On Wednesday, the 2022 Colorado Springs Western Street Breakfast will be held in downtown Colorado Springs.

The following road closures will be in place on Wednesday:

Midnight to noon

• Pikes Peak Ave. between Cascade and Nevada avenues (Nevada Ave. will remain open) 
• Tejon St. between Kiowa St. and Colorado Ave.

4:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

• Pikes Peak Ave. between Nevada and Wahsatch Avenues (Nevada and Wahsatch Avenues will remain open) 
• Pikes Peak Ave. between Wahsatch Ave. and N. Corona St.

The event is open to the public.

There will be handicap parking in front of Phantom Canyon. At 7a.m., street parking meters will begin.
