Express lane closures expected along southbound I-25 on Saturday
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced Wednesday there will be express lane road closures along southbound I-25 throughout the day.
The road closures will start this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
CDOT says many far-left lanes will be closed along southbound I-25 from Castle Rock to Monument Hill.
These closures allow road crews to finish wall patching and median work.
During the day, at least two lanes will remain open to drivers in order to access their destination efficiently.
CDOT warns drivers to be extra cautious when driving through a work zone. Make sure to watch for crews and follow the speed limit.
