Public assistance requested with injury hit and run crash

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado State Patrol is asking for assistance from the public on locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run crash early Saturday morning on Highway 287 near Vermillion Road.

On June 5th, at around 1:00 a.m. in the morning, a black Honda headed northbound on Highway 287 struck a pedestrian in the roadway and then fled the scene. The 30 year old pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Honda is possibly a van or SUV and may have right side damage and be missing the passenger side mirror.

If anyone witnessed the crash, or may have information about this incident is asked to please contact the Colorado State Patrol dispatch center at 303-239-4501 and reference case # 1D211717.
