CSPD asking for assistance in identifying potential witnesses in homicide case

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department needs your help. As they continue to investigate the death of 37-year-old Chasta Rogers, they are asking the public for assistance in identifying potential witnesses from the homicide case that happened last year.

On October 2, 2020, Colorado Springs Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance just after 10 p.m. near the intersection of Delta Drive and Hancock Expressway. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a deceased adult female in the roadway and an adult male with serious injuries.

Detectives are now asking for assistance from the public with identifying possible witnesses to the disturbance focusing on the 7-11 located at 2350 Hancock Expressway.

Police have released photographs of the possible witnesses and the vehicle they arrived in. Detectives are also asking for assistance in locating a vehicle of interest in regard to this investigation. The vehicle, a Toyota Corolla.
