Road rage incident in Colorado Springs escalates into a shooting.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO) -- A road rage incident near Austin Bluffs and Academy on Sunday afternoon ended with one of the drivers shooting at the other.
Around 12:30 Sunday afternoon, officers from CSPD responded to a road rage shooting in the area of Austin Bluffs and Academy Blvd. When officers arrived they learned that two men in two different cars were involved in an argument that escalated to the point that one of the drivers in a gold Chevy Trailblazer with a cracked windshield and Washington State plates, fired a single shot into the other car. No one was injured in the shooting.
Police described the suspect as a white male between 30-40 years-old, about 200-220 pounds, with short hair and trimmed facial hair. This investigation is on-going.
