Colorado Springs police respond to shooting in Kohl’s parking lot

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police say one person was taken to the hospital after a reported shooting that may have happened in a Kohl's parking lot.

Multiple officers were called to the store parking lot near S. Circle Drive and Janitell Road at about 10:30 a.m. Friday.

According to investigators at the scene, officers were flagged down for a disturbance outside of the store after one man was shot.

Witnesses at the scene told a KRDO photographer that the argument started between people in the store before the disturbance moved outside and the shooting occurred.

Police didn't have specific information about the victim's injuries but said that he was in stable condition.

CSPD said more information about the suspect's description would be released later Friday.
