Wanted felon leads police officers on foot chase in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colorado (KRDO) -- Early Sunday morning, Pueblo Police officers responded to the 4000 block of North Elizabeth street in an attempt to locate Shane Santarelli who was wanted on a felony warrant.

Around 2:40 am they found Santarelli a few blocks away on Patty Lane. When the suspect saw the officers, he took off running, leading them on a foot chase. The suspect ran across Highway 50, then jumped over a fence behind the old K-Mart before officers eventually took him into custody.
