Incline Fire 100% percent contained
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — The Incline Fire is now at 100% containment, according to a spokesperson for Manitou Springs.
Crews analyzed the fire through thermal imaging and physically feeling for hot spots on Sunday. Despite high winds and red flag warnings, the crews reported no pockets of heat.
In total, the Incline Fire burned about an acre of land.
The Barr Lot, Barr Trail, and the Incline will reopen Monday, according to city spokesperson Alex Trefry.
Investigators are still working to determine whether the fire was caused by arson. They're searching for a person of interest who is a white man in his 40's, wearing a white T-shirt, a gray hoodie, and gray pants.
Crews were called to the Incline Fire Thursday afternoon.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area that day is asked to call the Colorado Springs Police Department.
