UPDATE: CSPD no longer looking for suspects in shooting of missing hikers.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO ) -- On Saturday, a search effort was launched to find a missing "at-risk" couple who were last seen hiking near the Edmondson trailhead, 306 East Woodmen Road. Their bodies were found adjacent to Monument Creek just off of the New Santa Fe Trail. Both of them were shot and killed.

CSPD has updated their information with regard to the investigation and is no longer looking for any suspects in the case and has identified all persons involved in the incident. There is no danger to the community and detectives do not anticipate any arrests as a result of this investigation.
