Gov. Polis gives update on COVID-19 response in Colorado, Sept. 3

DENVER (KRDO) -- Colorado Gov. Jared Polis is giving an update on the state's response to COVID-19 Thursday.

Gov. Polis focused on the need for people to keep up with the state's mask mandate and social distancing requirements during the Labor Day weekend.

Polis also put a spotlight on large gatherings being held on college campuses, specifically saying that several fraternities at CU Boulder have gone against their national organizations and held big parties. Polis' first three guests were two college students and University of Colorado President Mark Kennedy, who spoke about the importance of limiting the spread of COVID-19 on campuses.

      Gov. Polis has managed to keep Colorado among the safest states in America when it comes to Covid.

      1. Thankfully, most of Polis’s attempts to shatter Colorado’s economy have backfired. I only wish he would have done something to keep small businesses open. Polis is a coward that only wants to follow in the footsteps of Newsom. Colorado will be much better off with a Republican Governor.
