Pueblo Police arrests 4 suspects in drive-by shooting as they made a second pass
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Early Saturday morning police made a break in the case of a reported drive-by shooting -- when the suspects drove by, again.
The serendipitous moment happened just after 4 a.m. in the 2100 block of E. 14th Street. Pueblo Police says officers were investigating at the scene where two cars and a residence were hit by gunfire. That's when witnesses shouted, "There they are!" as the suspects drove by in a white SUV.
Two officers jumped in their cruisers and pursued them for several blocks before they pulled over. Police took four people into custody, seized two guns and lots of ammunition.
Pueblo Police says the SUV was towed and a search warrant will be written for it. The investigation is ongoing.
