State approves Fremont County’s variance to reopen
FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Fremont County has received approval from the Governor's Office and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for its variance to reopen certain businesses within the county.
The county announced the approval Thursday morning and said the variance to reopen includes measures for social distancing and safety. It takes effect immediately, according to a release from Fremont County.
Fremont County had submitted the variance for approval earlier in May.
The following businesses will be able to reopen under the new rules. (Click the links for specific guidelines.)
Under the variance request, restaurants are encouraged to continue business through take-out, delivery and curbside pickup. Churches are also encouraged to continue offering online or drive-up services.
