Police investigating suspicious death at Manitou Springs RV park
MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A check for welfare on a resident at a Manitou Springs RV park Wednesday morning turned into the discovery of a deceased person.
A large police presence was seen at the RV park on El Paso Boulevard for hours Wednesday, and MSPD confirmed that officers found a dead person inside a trailer in the lot.
Police aren't calling this a homicide at this point but say it's a suspicious death. Detectives with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office are leading the investigation inside the scene of the death.
The identity of the deceased person hasn't been released.
