Car break-in suspect caught on video in southeast Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A brazen thief is at large after he was caught on surveillance camera smashing in a window of a parked car and making off with a bag.
It happened Friday evening at Academy and Astrozon, according to the viewer who sent in the footage.
Surveillance video shows the suspect drive up in a blue colored Ford pickup truck. He gets out of the truck and smashes in the passenger side window of an empty white Subaru.
He then grabs a bag from the front seat and get back in his truck. The whole thing takes less than 30 seconds.
