Pueblo officer rear-ended while investigating another car crash
The icy roads proved to be dicey for drivers in Pueblo Tuesday morning, and the Pueblo Police Department shared a picture with a warning after an officer's cruiser was rear-ended by an SUV.
According to PPD, the officer was investigating a car crash at Northern Ave. and Santa Fe Drive when a Nissan Armada lost control on the slippery road and crashed into the back of the police SUV.
Nobody was reported injured, but eastbound Northern was closed down temporarily while crews worked to clear the scene.
