PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) — The Colorado State Patrol is warning people to be careful driving in southern Colorado because of blowing snow.

CSP Pueblo tweeted hotels in Walsenburg are full, and the tweet encourages people to consider staying home or finding a hotel in Trinidad or Pueblo.

The National Weather Service said heavy snow will continue between Pueblo and Trinidad Sunday night, with white-out conditions at times. Snowfall rates of up to 3 inches per hour are possible, according to the NWS.
