Fast food restaurant vandals denounce President Trump in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - A fast food restaurant and a Trump merchandise tent in its parking lot have been vandalized.

The Burger King at the intersection of Briargate and Academy is currently out of business, making it that much easier for vandals to sneak over and spray paint phrases like "f**** Trump," "die nazi," and "BLM" -- the acronym for Black Lives Matter.

All of that has been written across this building since Sunday morning, according to the man who runs the Trump merchandise tent in the parking lot, Rene Stuber.

Stuber said he's received plenty of hate toward his business, and he believes the culprits were just mad about him, and his tent. He said they've also damaged his set up before multiple times.

"They're destroying my tents, they've spray painted them, they've got holes in them. You know, it's just ridiculous people would do that," Stuber said to KRDO crews Sunday. "I mean you vote for who you want to vote for, but you don't have to hate and destroy people's property."

We're still waiting to hear back from police to see if they have been called to investigate, and learn how they usually respond to vacant buildings that are vandalized.

If you know anything about this destruction of property, you should give Colorado Springs Police a call.
