CIMARRON HILLS, Colo. (KRDO) — El Paso County Sheriff's deputies are involved in a standoff in Cimarron Hills at a home on Mohican Dr.

The deputies originally went to the home in response to a call about domestic violence around 4:00 Sunday afternoon, according to the spokesperson for the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect barricaded himself in the home. The sheriff's office spokesperson said the suspect has weapons and an active felony warrant.

He is the only person in the home, and there is currently no danger to neighbors.

There is no estimate on when the standoff will end.
