Woman treats couples to free date nights at her Colorado Springs home
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - One Colorado Springs woman is using her skills in the kitchen to help married couples relight the flame through some good ole home cooking.
She's hosting free date nights at her Colorado Springs home.
Caramia Sommers makes posts on local community Facebook groups asking who needs a romantic night away from the kids -- whether they can't afford dinner out, or a babysitter.
Regardless of what the obstacle is, she makes them a full meal, including dessert. While they eat, she entertains the kids out back.
You might think there's some kind of catch… There has to be right?
Nope! This all out of the goodness of her heart, for the ones who need it most.
"Some people just need a little encouragement with all of the evil that's going on. So a little something can really help someone, if they're depressed, or in despair. It matters," Caramia explained. "You can make a difference in someone's life."
Caramia has even inspired some people to donate to the free date nights. People have contributed money, wine, and even a free professional photography session for one couple.
