COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police in Colorado Springs found a stolen vehicle parked in a driveway and when they searched the home, they arrested a "prolific offender" and his girlfriend.

The two officers found the stolen car at a home on Harbor Place, and they were aware that the home was "known to harbor fugitives," according to a police report.

Nobody answered when the officers knocked on the door, so the homeowner was called and showed up at the house. Officers then got permission to search the residence, and they found two wanted people inside.

Police say 19-year-old Noah Burton was arrested for multiple felony warrants, including motor vehicle theft, assault, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, and eluding. Burton's girlfriend, 20-year-old Mariah Davidson, was also taken into custody for a misdemeanor warrant.

During the arrest, police say a 43-year-old man inside the home was also cited and released for obstruction.
