Police looking into string of robberies that started in east Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police are investigating three robberies that could have been committed by the same suspect early Sunday morning.

It started around 7 a.m. Sunday with a robbery at one store in the 5600 block of Palmer Park Blvd. Police say someone walked in, took money and merchandise, and walked out. It's not clear if a weapon was used.

According to a police report, two other robberies happened at different businesses, "and appear to be related."

No description of the suspect was given, but CSPD says they're still getting more information.
