Deadly shooting in east Colorado Springs under investigation
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — Colorado Springs Police are investigating a fatal shooting Wednesday at the Rodeway Inn at Murray Blvd. and Platte Ave.
Police said they found one woman dead at the scene and a man with an apparent gunshot wound.
The El Paso County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 27-year-old Rebecca Smith. The cause of death has yet to be determined, but the violent crimes unit is investigating it as a homicide.
