Major Crash Team investigating deadly accident
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department's Major Crash Team is investigating a deadly crash at S. Academy Boulevard and Hancock Expressway.
The two-vehicle crash was reported just after 12:15 a.m. Thursday. Officers from the Sand Creek division tell KRDO Newschannel 13 that one of the drivers fled the scene.
At this time a cause has not yet been determined. The intersection remains closed as the city works to clean up a large oil spill at the scene.
