El Paso County Sheriff’s Office looking for package theft suspect

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a package theft on Old Stage Coach Road near Highway 83. 

The sheriff’s office said between about 2:30 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. on Friday, the suspect drove up to the entrance of the driveway, exited his car, walked up to the home’s porch and stole a package from it.

The suspect is described as a white male, in the age range of mid 50s through late 60s, short gray/white hair, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and light brown boots.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white Yukon Suburban.

The sheriff’s office shared these still images they obtained from video footage showing the suspect and suspect’s vehicle.

  1. Those pictures are good enough that anyone who knows him should easily recognize him. He should have just left his ID there and saved a lot of aggravation.

  2. What I find odd about this is that there are package thefts happening all over this town, and this one makes it on the news? Maybe they should show on the news every single person who has cameras/videos showing thieves stealing their stuff – maybe it would help everyone out.
