Man arrested with six felony warrants, including alleged third-degree assault and domestic violence

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) says it is has arrested a man wanted for a total of six felony warrants.

According to CSPD, the Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force (VOFTF) was asked to assist in the apprehension of Marcus McNeil, who they say have a felony warrant for his arrest for intimidation of a victim, third-degree assault, menacing and violation of a protection order.

A VOFTF detective was assigned the case in August but had been unable to locate McNeil. Over the course of the month, CSPD says McNeil had gained additional felony domestic violence warrants. On Wednesday, VOFTF received information McNeil was at a victim's residence.

VOFTF says it requested help from CSPD tactical units, a K9 and a drone. Detectives confirmed McNeil was in the apartment, and he exited and was taken into custody without incident.

McNeil now faces a total of six felony warrants and two misdemeanor warrants, according to CSPD.
