Man arrested in Pueblo County after runaway juvenile reports abuse

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- A 42-year-old Pueblo West man has been arrested on several felony charges after a child abuse and domestic violence situation with his spouse and stepchildren, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (PCSO).

PCSO says Jeremy East was arrested on July 29 and charged with second-degree assault, intimidating a victim/witness, stalking, false imprisonment, telephone obstruction, harassment, domestic violence and child abuse.

Deputies say an investigation was launched against East after they responded to a report of a runaway juvenile on July 27.

PCSO says a deputy found the juvenile walking in the area and, while discussing the reason the child ran away, learned that the children in the home had been alledgly subject to a pattern of harsh punishment and abuse.
