Colorado Springs police investigating after multiple robbery calls Tuesday morning

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Colorado Springs police are investigating after multiple calls for robberies in the east side of town early Tuesday.

The first call came in just after 2:30 a.m. for a Circle K convenience store on Palmer Park Boulevard. After officers got there, they found a vehicle rammed through the front doors while an employee was inside.

A short time later, police said they got two more calls for other convenience stores in the area with similar robbery or burglary patterns.

Officers saw the suspect vehicle near Austin Bluffs Parkway and Union Boulevard. The suspect vehicle drove off, starting a pursuit with officers. The suspects got away in the area of I-25 and Voyager Parkway.
