Child suffers life threatening injuries after Colorado Springs crash

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - A child was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries after a crash in Colorado Springs Thursday.

Police data shows the crash happened just before 4:30 Thursday afternoon in a parking lot on South 8th Street.

When officers got there, CSPD said they found the child with life threatening injuries. That child was taken to the hospital for treatment and there haven't been any updates on their condition.

CSPD said everyone involved had contacted the department.

CSPD's Major Crash Team has taken over the investigation.
