FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Jurors in Florida school shooter Nikolas Cruz’s death penalty trial have now seen evidence of his growing obsession with mass killings. Prosecutors on Wednesday presented hundreds of internet posts and searches the 23-year-old made in the months before he murdered 17 at Parkland’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He searched for information on earlier mass shootings, praised a mass killer and noted his desire to commit his own killings. About two months before he attacked, he turned his obsession to his former school. Cruz pleaded guilty in October to the murders. The jurors will decide if he is sentenced to death or life without parole.
