ARCHULETA COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Department of State is making changes to some voting locations in Archuleta County due to an ongoing flood risk.

According to officials, voters were notified of the changes on November 1. The following locations will still be open for voting within the county, according to the Department of State:

  • Archuleta County Courthouse Voter Center
    • 109 Harmon Park Drive, Pagosa Springs
    • Open Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Election Office
    • 305 Village Drive, Pagosa Springs
    • Open Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Archuleta County Extension Office
    • 344 HWY 84, Pagosa Springs
    • Open Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Pine River Library at Bayfield -- Joint La Junta/Archuleta Voter Center
    • 295 Bayfield Center Drive, Bayfield
    • Open Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Officials say Archuleta County voters can get a replacement ballot with their local races at the Pien River Library center.

There are also two drop boxes in Pagosa Springs and Arboles that voters can use. The first is at 10 Solomon Drive in Pagosa Springs and is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. The second location at 333 Milton Lane in Arboles is open 24/7 through 7 p.m. on Nov. 3, according to officials.

The Ross Aragon Community Center Voter Center and Pagosa Springs Town Hall Ballot Drop Box are both closed and will not be open for ballot return anymore, officials say.

The Department of State says voting centers and times in Conejos, La Plata, Montezuma, and Rio Grande counties are all unaffected by the ongoing flooding.

They say any voters who are impacted by flooding can visit any voter center across the state to get a replacement ballot. More information on voting, and how voters impacted by flooding can still submit ballots, can be found here.

A full list of voter center and drop box locations is available on the Department of State's website.
