WATCH: Police free skunk in Parker after it gets fast food cup stuck on its head

PARKER, Colo. (KRDO) -- A skunk in Parker recently got itself into a sticky situation when it got its head stuck in a Culver's cup.

According to the Parker Police Department, officers were sent out to the skunk that had the cup stuck on its head. Police say they followed the skunk around for a little until an officer got close enough to pull the cup off.

The skunk did eventually get free and ran away freely.

Now, officials are reminding people of the dangers of trash and litter for wildlife. They say cups and other containers can trap animals and restrict their movements, which could stop them from eating or drinking.
