Pueblo County Coroner identifies body found as 88-year-old man reported missing on Monday

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo County Coroner's Office says it has identified a body found this morning as that of a man who had been missing since Monday.

According to the coroner, 88-year-old Jesus "Jesse" Perales Ramirez was reported missing on Monday evening. They say he was found on Friday around 11:40 a.m. near the 400 block of West B Street in Pueblo.

The Pueblo Police Department had previously asked for help locating Ramirez, who said he was last seen on the east side of the city.

The coroner says the next of kin have been notified. The coroner's office is still investigating the incident. They say they will release more information as appropriate.
