COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs City Council is inviting residents to give feedback on the proposed city budget for 2027.

According to the city, the council is holding a meeting at the council chambers on Monday, Oct. 26, at 5:30 p.m. The council approves the budget, which is currently available on the city's website.

They are asking those who wish to speak at the public hearing to sign up in advance by emailing allcouncil@coloradosprings.gov or calling 719-385-5480. Signing up in advance is not required.

This is just one of several upcoming meetings to discuss the proposed budget. The city says it will also meet in October for a markup session, and then twice in November for the first and second readings of the 2027 budget ordinance.
