Magic of Lights returning to Pikes Peak International Raceway in November

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Magic of Lights is making its return to the Pikes Peak International Raceway!

The holiday event, produced by Family Entertainment Live and sponsored by SCHEELS, will start November 20 and feature a drive-through light show and holiday village. 2026 will mark the event's fifth year in Colorado Springs.

According to officials, the light show includes the longest light tunnel in Colorado. Some of the displays will include "Prehistoric Christmas," a toy-focused section, the 12 Days of Christmas and "Reindeer Road." The "Enchanting Tunnel of Lights" is 400 feet long and will also have other illuminated tunnels for guests, according to organizers.

There will also be a chance for photos with Santa during the event. Other fan-favorite attractions, like a Barbie that is over 30-feet tall and a Monster Truck display will round out the event, according to organizers.

In total, organizers say more than two million lights will be used for the displays, with almost 13 miles of light cord. They say around 3,750 staff hours are put into building the displays, with each installation having around 10 miles of steel framework and 10 miles of LED lighting in 10 colors.

Magic of Lights runs through January 2. From Sunday through Thursday, the display runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, it is open from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
