El Paso County confirms 2026 General Election ballots mailed to voters

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Office of the Clerk and Recorder confirms that 2026 General Election Ballots have been mailed.

According to county officials, around 494,500 ballots have been mailed to all eligible, active registered voters for the November 3rd General Election and should arrive to voters by Oct. 12.

The county says if you do not receive your ballot by Oct. 12, contact the Elections Department at 719-575-VOTE (8683).

Voters can cast their ballot by mail, at a ballot drop box, or in person at a Voter Service and Polling Center. All ballots must be returned to the Clerk and Recorder's Office by 7 p.m. on Election day to be counted.

According to the county, there are 44 secure 24-hour ballot drop box locations throughout the county. Every ballot box is under 24/7 camera surveillance which is livestreamed to the public on our website.
