EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- A crash on Highway 24 westbound is causing a massive backup near Manitou Springs.

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), a crash between Waldo Canyon and Pikes Peak Highway has shut down the right lane of westbound Highway 24.

CDOT is asking people to use slower speeds and use caution in the area. A KRDO13 viewer says the traffic was at a standstill between Cave of the Winds and Topeka Avenue.
