20-year-old arrested for drive-by shooting in Pueblo, facing six counts of attempted 1st-degree murder

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) has arrested a 20-year-old suspect on six counts of attempted 1st-degree murder after a drive-by shooting on Sept. 22 near the 800 block of E. Abriendo Avenue.

According to PPD, officers responded to the scene around 6:10 a.m. to learn that a house with several people inside was struck numerous times.

PPD says it issued a search warrant for a residence in the 2900 block of Knoll Court in Colorado City after identifying a suspect.

During the search warrant, PPD says detectives located several firearms, including an AR-15-style rifle that is believed to have been used on the night of the drive-by shooting.

The suspect, identified as Xavian Marshall, later reached out to law enforcement and allegedly admitted to the shooting during an interview, PPD says.

Marshall was charged with six counts of attempted 1st-degree murder and a weapons violation.
