Fort Carson announces increased noise and dust due to field artillery training

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Fort Carson alerts the community that field artillery training between Oct. 5-8 will increase noise and dust during the day and throughout the night in the area.

Officials say those south of the main post can expect the increased noise as training is conducted to validate crews from the 4th Infantry Division.

According to Fort Carson, residents can direct noise complaints to the Fort Carson Public Affairs Office at (719) 526-9849.
