Eastbound Hancock Expressway reopened at Union/Hancock interchange near South Circle Drive for traffic crash

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) says eastbound Hancock Expressway is fully closed at the Union/Hancock interchange due to a traffic collision.

CSPD says Hancock Expressway eastbound is closed by the southbound Circle on/off ramps because of the crash. They say westbound traffic isn't officially closed, but is impacted by the incident. CSPD first reported the crash around 5:30 p.m.

A Colorado Department of Transportation map shows traffic is impacted on South Circle Drive and is backing up on the expressway.

CSPD said the road was reopened around 7:15 p.m.
