Police seek video of early morning burglary at Springs Armory

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office (EPSO) is asking residents and business owners for video surveillance footage on Sept. 16 after a burglary at Springs Armory, a business in the 2400 block of Waynoka Road.

EPSO says that around 3:37 a.m. on Sept. 16, they responded to a security alarm going off at the business, and when deputies responded, they received surveillance video showing four suspects breaking in.

According to law enforcement, the video shows a blue sedan driving past the front of the business and then four suspects walking towards the door. EPSO says the suspects are seen breaking the glass and entering the business, where they stole several items.

Law enforcement says the suspects then exited the business and left the area in the vehicle. According to EPSO, the vehicle, which was reported stolen, has since been found.

EPSO is asking residents and businesses in the area to review any surveillance, doorbell, or Ring camera footage captured between 3-4 a.m. on Sept. 16. Deputies are also asking the public for help identifying the suspects.
