Man arrested during child exploitation investigation in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A man was arrested Thursday morning after authorities served a search warrant in Colorado Springs as part of an investigation into the sexual exploitation of children.

Members of the Southern Colorado Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force served the warrant around 8:30 a.m. Sept. 17 in the 100 block of East Platte Avenue, authorities said.

David Johnson was arrested without incident on related charges during the search, the Colorado Springs Police Department said.

Authorities have not released additional details about the investigation.
