Two Colorado Springs restaurants join 2026 Michelin Guide selection for recommended restaurants

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Two Colorado Springs restaurants are among 15 establishments receiving new recognition in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide’s statewide selection.

Four by Brother Luck and The Penrose Room were named Recommended Restaurants in the latest guide.

Four by Brother Luck’s Kyle McNerney also received the MICHELIN Exceptional Cocktails Award.

The announcement was made by Gov. Jared Polis and the Colorado Tourism Office, which highlighted the restaurants recognized across the state.

The 2026 selection includes 63 restaurants spanning 22 cuisine types. It also marks the first year MICHELIN Guide inspectors assessed restaurants across the entire state of Colorado.

Milpero in Denver received one MICHELIN Star, joining Colorado’s growing list of Michelin-Starred restaurants.

The guide also recognized three new Bib Gourmand restaurants, including the following:

  • Annette in Aurora
  • Pig and Tiger in Denver
  • Rougarou in Denver

Eleven restaurants were named Recommended Restaurants, including the two Colorado Springs establishments.

  • Casa Juani, Boulder
  • Dân Dã, Aurora
  • Dear Emilia, Denver
  • Florence Supper Club, Denver
  • Four by Brother Luck, Colorado Springs
  • Heretík, Denver
  • Madeline, Denver
  • Radicato, Breckenridge
  • Rootstalk, Breckenridge
  • The National, Telluride
  • The Penrose Room, Colorado Springs

The MICHELIN Guide also announced four special professional awards.

  • Exceptional Cocktails Award: Kyle McNerney, Four by Brother Luck
  • Sommelier Award: Theo Adley and Jenessa Reiman, Heretík
  • Outstanding Service Award: Joseph Freyre, The Penrose Room
  • Young Chef/Culinary Professional Award: Cameron Baker, Radicato

Gov. Polis congratulated the restaurants recognized, saying Colorado’s restaurants strengthen local communities and economies.

The MICHELIN Guide evaluates restaurants based on five criteria: product quality, mastery of cooking techniques, harmony of flavors, the personality of the chef as reflected in the cuisine, and consistency over time and across the menu.
