Permits issued for $22.3 million Target in Monument

MONUMENT, Colo. (KRDO) -- A 129,000 square foot Target is officially coming to Monument.

According to the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department, permits have been issued for the store. It will be located on the east side of Interstate-25 near Baptist Road and Jackson Creek Parkway.

Officials say the project will cost $22.3 million.

According to the Town of Monument's website, a Chick-Fil-A is being built in the same area as the new Target.
