Vehicle fire breaks out in Rockrimmon area, CSFD says

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Firefighters were working Thursday morning to put out a vehicle fire in the Rockrimmon area.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department reported the fire around 7:45 a.m. near the corner of West Rockrimmon Boulevard and Delmonico Drive.

CSFD posted footage showing what appears to be a van up in flames.

Fire officials warned of smoke in the area but said that firefighters were "working to extinguish the fire."

CSFD announced that the fire was out around 8 a.m. and said one person was treated on scene for minor burns.
