Mountain Metropolitan Transit seeks public input on proposed fall route changes

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) is asking for feedback on new potential routes and service changes for the fall.

According to officials, MMT is seeking public comment by Tuesday, Sept. 15, for changes that would start on Sunday, Oct. 25. The proposed changes are:

• Increasing Sunday evening frequency on Routes 1, 3, 5, 11 and 25 to run every 30 minutes instead of every 60 minutes
• Increasing weekday frequency on Route 24 to run every 30 minutes instead of every 60 minutes
• Reducing Friday and Saturday evening frequency on Route 13 "THE ZEB Downtown Ride" by around two hours
• Change Route 15 to add new stops at the Pikes Peak United Way Family Success Center on Verde Drive. Stops would be located southwest of the center on Kodiak Drive

More information on the changes and the comment submission is available on MMT's website. People can also submit comments in person at the Customer Service Center at the Downtown Terminal at 127 E. Kiowa St. during regular business hours.
