WATCH: Baby fawn rescued from deck railing in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- A fawn was rescued and reunited with its mom today after being trapped in between a deck railing in Morrison.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, two animal control officers helped rescue the fawn. They were able to pull the animal back from the railing, where it then ran off and reunited with its mom.

It was later seen safely nursing in a field nearby.
