Travelers can use Colorado Mobile ID at participating airports

STATEWIDE, Colo. (KRDO) -- Coloradans travelling in the country now have a new way to show identification at the airport.

According to officials, the state's digital ID phone app will now be accepted, not just at the Denver International Airport, but at airports across the country. Those who have their IDs on the app can now use it at participating airports across 20 states and Puerto Rico.

Though it will help at participating airports, many airports across the country still don't accept any form of mobile ID. TSA recommends travelers keep a physical copy of their drivers license or ID on them just in case.
