KRDO

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Coroner's Office has identified the pedestrian killed in a crash at North Powers Boulevard and Palmer Park Boulevard earlier this month.

According to officials, a pickup truck was travelling north on North Powers Boulevard when it hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Palmer Park Boulevard. The victim, 40-year-old Tracey Yost, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) says speed and alcohol were not considered factors in the crash. This is the 39th traffic fatality in the city, according to officials.

Police say the case remains open and active, and anyone with information is asked to contact CSPD.
