Pueblo County identifies person killed in fatal accident off Eagleridge Boulevard

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) confirmed its 13th fatal traffic crash of the year happened on Tuesday.

According to officials, officers responded to a call in the 500 block of Eagleridge Boulevard about a multi-vehicle crash, with someone trapped in a car. PPD says the Pueblo Fire Department began extrication efforts but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Pueblo County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 42-year-old Randy Meador.

According to officials, several other people involved in the accident were taken to local hospitals.

PPD says this is an ongoing investigation, and they continue to investigate.
